Course Introduction:


A major event and project in the Plant or Refinery „Life Cycle‟ is the Start Up

and Turnaround processes which are imperative for Safe and Efficient



A carefully and effectively plant shutdown will improve team effectiveness,

efficiency, safety and respect to the environment while an ill planned or one

that is allowed to happen can be disastrous in all respects.


This course seminar is designed to give guidance to all Start Up and Turnaround

Team members and includes the Prior checks and the series of executable

systems to ensure the procedure is carried out implicitly.
