One of the simplest ways to improve productivity in maintenance is to make improvements in work management.  It's a fact that in New Zealand few planners and schedulers receive more than rudimentary on-the-job training to carry out one of the most important roles within maintenance.  This course gives new skills to planners and schedulers, teaching them how work management is carried out in world class organisations.  A comprehensive syllabus covering all five elements of the work management process but with a particular focus on the topics planners and schedulers need to carry out their roles effectively.  Emphasis is given to scoping, planning, scheduling, critical paths, use of charts etc. to give planners the skills they need to take work management to the next level.
